Quentin Gausset

Quentin Gausset is Associate Professor in Anthropology at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). He has over 20 years expertise in environmental anthropology and has conducted research in different African and Asian countries on environmental conflicts and on the socio-cultural aspects of natural resource management. For the past 10 years, he has studied Danish citizen-driven initiatives to mitigate climate change. He is currently leading the COMPASS research project (Collective Movements and Pathways to Sustainable Societies) studying how Danish eco-communities create new environmental norms, how these norms influence behaviour, and how they spread in society.
